I am very proud of my wife's achievements. Today she was given her long overdue acclaim. I wanted to inform you that Dr. JoAnn Shade was recognized by Ashland Seminary with 2009 Distinguished Alumna for Community Transformation.

The 2009 Distinguished Alumni winners were recognized at the Alumni Breakfast. We celebrate this wonderful recognition.

The dedication weekend is over and we have been our building for over two weeks now. We are still trying to work out the bugs in the building but we are blessed. Each day brings on it's own new challenges. I am so glad that my wife and I had a chance to enjoy this whole journey. Now the next chapter are being writhen with ministry and challenges that are brought on by making the whole thing work for the honor of God. We have prayed and blessed the building but now it is up to us to fulfill the mission. Continue to pray for us and our Crops families.

I have to admit that coming to church every Sunday is a joy and watching new people join us has been a joy also. I want to thank all who helped in any way to make this a success from our prayer worriers to the builders, architect to corps folks and volunteers as well as all the special guests that we had over the dedication weekend. Praise the Lord.

It has been awhile since I have posted here I do a lot of face book and every time I post here I then get blocked by the thing called Web sense. I will update all who are interested that we are making progress in the kroc project we are getting closer to the dedication weekend. We have lined up the New York Staff Band as well as the Territorial Arts Ministry team. Some special surprises are a 100 person Choir that will feature local churches singing with the Staff band "O Boundless Salvation" and "Hallelujah Chorus" The full cabinet from New York Headquarters will be there along with other special guests.
